G.S. Greene is a Trinidadian and Canadian writer, who has also had the pleasure of living island life in Barbados. Inspired by her own experiences growing up in an Afro West Indian household, as well as by childhood stories of Caribbean folklore told by her grandmother, parents, uncles and aunts, her debut novel Death Lore was born. The Unwitting Apprentice is the beginning of the Death Lore universe tales and adventures of main character Rhea, and the many side characters readers meet along the way. When she isn't writing fiction, G.S. Greene champions research and other work on climate action, the just transition and youth empowerment through her professional career and volunteer projects especially geared at small island developing states.
